End of 2015 parts of Friedrichshain got declared a “danger zone” (“Gefahrengebiet”). Since then, dozens of police people are regularly laying siege to the northern kiez. By publicising accounts of people’s experiences of this, we hope to sketch the nature of the lives we live under the circumstances of free-hand rule by ever-so-concerned police.
